A/C EVACUATION
& RECHARGE
& RECHARGE
Why is it important?
Evacuation of A/C refrigerant removes moisture and gases from your system, and is the most important process to do to prevent A/C system failure. Moisture is the leading cause of any failed A/C system.
Recharging your A/C system is the process of adding more refrigerant to your A/C system and allows your A/C system to start blowing cold air again, but it’s only necessary to do every few years.
What we inspect
A thorough visual inspection of the air conditioner components will be completed by a professional Archie’s technician. System pressure readings will also be checked, and a temperature analysis will be performed in order to determine the performance of your A/C system.
When should you get a/c evacuation & recharge?
If you’re ever driving on a hot day, and the A/C isn’t as cold as it used to be, your A/C refrigerant may need to be recharged. Don’t top this off yourself, as proper gauges are necessary to determine accurate refrigerant levels. There might also be a moldy smell coming from the vents in your car, which could indicate the presence of mold in your A/C system.
