Shocks & Strut Replacement
& Strut Replacement
Why is it important?
Shocks and struts help reduce wear on suspension components, as well as on the tires. Not only does it affect vehicle handling, but can help prevent costly repairs in the future.
What we inspect
Archie’s technicians will check the condition of your shocks and struts, and provide for you a summary of their findings. They will check for leaks from your shock absorbers, for uneven wear on your tires, and make sure that your vehicle is level on both sides.
When shocks and struts are replaced, the effects will be immediately noticeable. You’ll enjoy a smoother ride and better handling.
When should you get a SHOCKS & Struts replacement?
Shocks and struts are typically replaced every 50 000 to 60 000 miles, although that can vary widely due to driving style. Many signs of a worn suspension are rather noticeable, such as a dip on one side of your vehicle, feeling the wheel ‘pull’ you to one side when driving, and nose-diving when the brakes are pushed.
*The mechanics of Archie’s Brake & Quick Lube are committed to treating your vehicle like family, which is why all maintenance schedules and service intervals will follow Manufacturer’s Recommendations, where applicable.
