Why is it important?
A happy engine is one that can breathe clean air. The engine air filter acts as a sieve to prevent contaminants such as dust and dirt from getting into your car engine, which can sometimes damage core components.
What we inspect
Our technicians will complete a thorough visual inspection of your engine air filter, and in accordance with your vehicle’s manufacturer recommendations, provide to you this information as to whether it should be replaced or not.
When should you Replace an Engine air Filter?
Most often, an engine air filter is replaced between 15 000 and 30 000 miles, but you may have to change it more often if you live in rural areas with dirt roads. At minimum, the engine filter should be replaced every three years, as it becomes brittle with age.
